The same people ridiculing Wlad for facing Mormeck,Wach,Leapai etc are the same guys who laughed and baulked at him having to defend against Thompson.now Thompson has beat the British oaf twice all of a sudden he isnt a bum ! double sandards no ?

Folk on here would have you belive Wlad should vacate.it is only butthurt due to the fact he retains all these belts why they want him to drop them.simply they cant bare to witness what will undoubtedly be the a record setting haul of defences which will ultimately surpass the great Joe Louis.in time Wladimir will be bestowed the same tile 'great'.

Wach was a late replacement for Arreola if I recall correctly, the fight was also offered to Fury too, which we know he rebuffed for some unbeknown reason.
What's more important - giving the fans good fights, especially on the back of a string of crap fight, or holding on to a belt nobody cares about?

I voted Leapai, but Pianeta was awful, too.

        Wach was interesting, stylistically.

I was not one of them. Thompson has always been a good fighter. just had issues getting good fights. there was not many lining up to fight him earlier in his career. 6'5 southpaw with some skill. he had to bide his time to get his title shots. his second was given 2 him because chambers pulled out twice from their final eliminator. I picked him to beat price both times but I picked him to lose to both pulev & solis. never thought he had enough left to beat the Cuban. i'm picking carlos takam to beat him too but I won't count the old warhorse out. losing to wlad a 2nd time did wonders for his career & bank account.

It would have probably been more interesting if I had chosen Mormeck as opposed to Wach.

I agree that it was interesting to watch Wlad fight a taller fighter. But Wach really didn't bring anything to the table that night.

Three solid opponents, Wlad just make it look too easy in there. As if your heroes of the past fought A level fighters every day of the week. Pfffftt.....

                What made them solid?

They absolutely did not. But they didn't fight 4 unranked opponents in the space of 2 years.

He gives the fans the biggest fights available...his MANDATARORIES you nitwit.

On the back of a crap fight he gave his fans an education and conclusive one sided beat down of a mandated challenger.

He holds onto the belts as he wants to be the first heavyweight to successfully unify all four major belts, even the IBO belt in years to come could be universally recognised.in the future when is career is all said and done,he will have aligned all belts included that one too !

Does it bother you he holds these belts ? you keep going on and on about him defending against Leapai and the most admireable thing to do would be drop them.the way I see it though is he will be admired and recognised more so having held onto and defended these belts a record haul of times, when he undoubtedly adventually surpasses Joe Louis's current record of defences.

To me it is more important he retains these belts.he himself has stated his intentions to align the WBC along with the current host of belts he has procured.

LacedUp is still butt hurt over daveys poor performance vs Wlad. Thats why he keeps making anti Klitschko threads.

Wlad hasn't fought an A level fighter his whole career.
