First fight was definitely close but not the robbery that a lot of Floyd detractors like to scream. Second fight was a clinic which people conveniently forget. Floyd is eons better at fighting inside than he was at that point of his career.

I see that Floyd lovers can't stand the truth that Castillo won the first fight. Angry delusional Floyd Pom Pom girls in here defending a fight that cant be defended. clear as day Castillo owned him that night.

It's just the way it goes. His undefeated recorded is forever tainted by this fight. The truth hurts he can be beat. You fan girls should know that your man crush is no superman.

Floyd lost the first one but he dominated the second fight. It's good Garcia is bringing it up. Castillo laid a good game plan for Maidana to follow. I don't think he can sustain that type of attack for 12 rds tho.

LMAO they bring up the Castillo fight every time FMJ fights. Let's be real it was a close fight but people get carried away. How does anyone who knows anything about boxing thinks what worked over a decade ago will work now against a fighter who is constantly adjusting in the ring.

Anybody who takes the compubox numbers has gospel shouldnt score boxing because, those punches landed were not CLEAN landed punches!!!

Not only that, fights are scored on a round by round basis from the main criteria of Ring Generalship, Defense, Clean Punching and effective aggression.

He cherry picked just like Roy Jones did. Floyd admitted as much and shared recently as long as fans keep paying for the fights, he keeps hand picking. Sorry that rough for you to hear.

You're right, Compubox numbers aren't gospel, but there is something telling when for the first time in his career, Mayweather was out landed and at a much higher % than in any of his other fights.
When most fighters struggle to land 20% on Mayweather, Castillo landed 40%, and 46% of his power shots.

On another note isn't it funny how many hardcore Mayweather fans use compubox numbers to praise Floyd as the most accurate fighter in history, yet dismiss it when the results don't support their conclusion.

I watched that fight multiple times, ain't no way in hell Castillo landed 46% of his power shots. All of those body shots were grazing at best.
