Thought Floyd lost the 1st fight. Interestingly, the judges scored the 2nd fight CLOSER than they did the first one. hmmm.... They were going to give the 1st fight to Floyd regardless. He was with ARUM then.

not much.
more leave floyd alone bull****.
you can still be a scientific boxer, a slick boxer and give the fans their monies worth. see alexis arguello, see salvador sanchez, see ray leonard.
What floyd does is spoil fights. Excessive holding and running.
When was the last time floyd was in a great fight where there was great two way action?
vs past prime cotto? its far too few in between.
Floyd isn't many fights with great "two way action" because most, if not all, of his fights are not competitive. It's not his fault that his opponents can't look good against him. If you take a fighter--ANY SINGLE FIGHTER--and put him through what Floyd's opponents from the last four or five years and he wins, they'd be praising him. But because it's Floyd; a trash-talking, Olympian who constantly boasts and shows off his possessions, people get worked up.
Excessive holding and running? Floyd has stood right there and walked down his last opponents. The most recent fight where you can definitely said he ran and held was the Hatton fight, but we're talking December 2007. He has a tendency to coast in the twelfth round as he's done with Cotto, Alvarez, Guerrero, Baldomir...but running? Nah. If you want to find someone whom you can pin the "runner" label on, it would be someone like Ivan Calderón. I'm not saying he's boring, but if you're going to toss the "running" thing around, at least back it up.
