I swear I'm not trying to be a jackass, but WHY are dudes happy that Ward LOST this lawsuit?!?....am I missing something?!?....promoters got fans?!?...promoter vs boxer in court...promoter wins and all I see is jubilation....like WTF?!?

I don't care about their attire, I care about their actions. And pretty much everything that Team Ward has said and done lately has rubbed me the wrong way.

These lawsuits, him not fighting for ages, him fighting Edwin Rodriguez when he finally does fight, him and Hunter having an arrogant aura, him and Hunter wanting to fight Chavez, then suddenly when that seems very unlikely they claim that anyone wanting to fight Chavez clearly does so because they wan't to fight a weak opponent, him wanting everybody else to move up/down to his weight class but even though he's kind of out of options at 168 he doesn't even entertain the idea of moving up, all this ridiculous talk about religion and then he acts like this greedy hypocritical cund?

Ward hasn't exactly been fighting. After the Super 6 tournament, the world was essentially at his finger tips. He should have fought and whipped Bute, but he let the fight fall to Froch.

I also think it is incorrect saying Bob would have made him a star. His track record with fighters, who do dazzle the masses, isn't exactly stellar. He'd be another Rigondeaux.

Ward needs to get back to beating the people in his division. His actions remind me of Bradley's fight plan in the Pacquiao fight: missing the smaller details in the hopes of landing big.

Exactly right. It is not Goossen's fault at all that Ward isn't a bigger star. Ward let the momentum he held after the Super 6 completely flame out. That's not Goossen's fault.

Ward is the one who keeps trying to sue when he knows he's going to fail, and is stalling his own career in the process.

ya i was thinking the same thing not to mention we as fans would of been able to see better fights with ward. I dont get it either i didnt realize people hated ward

The only reason we're not seeing better fights with Andre Ward is because of Andre Ward.

In December, Goossen asked the commission to arbitrate a second dispute over the length of the agreement. He argued that Ward should be under contract for 16 more months due to time missed for injuries as well as Ward's reluctance to allow him to set up his next fight. Ward's side said it didn't recognize the commission's authority, but said any extension should be for no more than six months. The promotional agreement between Ward and Goossen gives the commission the authority to decide any issues in arbitration, according to the ruling.

Foster ruled the contract should be extended for 14 months, a clear Goossen win.

Ward should be more than happy for what he got. You cant espect more for a boring fighter.
Ward should be happy that he got Goosen.
