I hate Bob but I do give him credit for knowing how to build stars.
I also think it is incorrect saying Bob would have made him a star. His track record with fighters, who do dazzle the masses, isn't exactly stellar. He'd be another Rigondeaux.
Ward needs to get back to beating the people in his division. His actions remind me of Bradley's fight plan in the Pacquiao fight: missing the smaller details in the hopes of landing big.

And we all know that the only way he would get that fight is if Arum owned a piece of him. It is what it is.
I already agreed that he has to live up to the contract that he signed so you can save that rant.
And I'm far from sure he would've done better anyway, and he probably wouldn't have been #2 P4P after 27 fights. You should call Rigo up and congratulate him on becoming a super star thanks to Arum.
According to Virgil Hunter fighting Chavez proves that you don't want to fight the best anyway, so why would he wanna do that?

Arum has the right fighter with the right demographics to make a big fight for Andre. He absolutely could have increased SOG's profile above and beyond what Goosen has done in my opinion.
But now he's stuck with the guy he signed with so it doesn't matter in the end.

It's Ward's fault for signing an extension, dude needs to own up to it. Goosen did all these things for him and Ward felt like Goosen was doing him good.
Then in the middle, he felt like leaving because he saw other big promoters who wanted him, but forgot he signed a 5 year extension.
Sit or fight... he'll probably sue again before the end of his contract and sit again, blaming everyone but himself
