What's the point in getting to the top, if the top brings you 1 million more than a Broner fight? Why not just beat up Broner a few more times?

Say he beats Broner 3 more times at 500k a pop, and fights Floyd but loses a close hard fought fight.

Which situation earns him more in his next fight, also keep in mind the time it would take to make those 3 fights as opposed to just 1~

Floyd pays guys based on their previous career high purses. $1.5 seems low for a fight of this magnitude, but I'm sure it's more than Marcos has ever made by a good margin.
