What is Maidana worth? Would be the pertinent question.

I think he would have trouble pulling $1 million even if he had a couple more good wins against a quality opponent.

I would say Floyd gave him fair market value, not very generous but they are not a charity to pay Maidana more than his true worth.

What is Maidana's value? He is like a 500k a fight guy, which isn't bad but he is never going to be more unless he hits on a huge opportunity like this and he ain't getting any younger. I think a lot of you are knocking the value of that opportunity. I said pretty much the same thing when Manny gave Clottey like a 90/10 split.
