Nobody ever brings this up. Both guys were 106 pounds when they were 16 years old. The difference was that Manny was a malnourished teenager who turned pro because he lived on the streets, and Floyd was an elite amateur. Both have won "championships" at 154 at right around 30 years of age.

Manny was clearly underweight, evidenced by the fact that he jumped up from 112 to 122 (i.e. 9% of his body weight).

exactly. it's completely ignorant to say pac is on peds based on his climb up in weight.

also when pac fought marquez for the second time (this was pre-ariza btw) he weighed in at 145lbs on fight night. when pac fought oscar de la hoya his fight night weight was 148lbs. nothing su****ious about 3 lbs.

It's fishy that Pac declined the first offer from Floyd just because of random drug testing. It's fishy that people involved with PEDs have had ties to the Wild Card Gym. (James Toney, Justin Fortune.) It's fishy that Manny never did random drug testing until after Marquez pacquiao'd him and now he's all for it. It's fishy that he suddenly hasn't had a knockout in 5 years.
