No one on any espn show knows a damn thing about boxing!
I knew Teddy when he was a young fighter with Cus and then again with Tyson in the JO programs. Teddy was a hardworking fellow who meant well and he poured his heart into Tyson back when Mike was very insecure and he benefitted from Teddy's strength. However through the years of being "stuck" on espn boxing shows that most times don't belong on tv he's become confused about his role in the game. He doesn't know that training part of the game has passed him by and he doesn't have the connections to move a young fighter, he never did!
If he just commentated without the "other sports analogies" he'd be ok.
oh yeah the demo he does with the camera man before every show needs to be retired! **** **** boom boom pop pop stop all ready!
ps, Teddy did the best training sessions with Tyson with Cus over seeing them. Tyson was at his best!

What a ****ing joke that guy is.
First he goes on to say that he sees himself as an intelligent person, then he says that he'll bet everything he has on Bradley. When Bradley loses he says that Bradley almost got knocked out against Provodnikov who came from no where and most people doesn't even know who he is, insinuating that Bradley isn't all that basically. Jebus christ, too bad Skip isn't smart enough to school that moron.Comment

They went too far today. If you want to say he's shot or Mayweather would destroy him or blame Pac for the fight not happening, whatever. But these were some serious accusations with no proof on a largely watched show. This was borderline slander. Fighters age and adapt. Has it occurred to them that he's slowing down because he's 35 and has been through a lot of wars including suffering a serious KO?
Stephen A. also said how Mayweather is looking smarter now for accusing Pac. Also, Pacquiao has been on that show how many times? He's always been nothing but respectful and professional. They weren't professional today.Comment

The guy is a moron, of course he doesn't. Anyone who has to state that they are "intelligent people" most likely has a very limited intellect.
Another fun thing was how he knocked Bradley for caring too much about how he looked at the weigh-in. But when Manny looks slightly less ripped at 35 with 10-20 weeks of training a year it's a sign of him getting of the juice. So basically I guess what he's saying is that he wishes Tim got a little smaller, so that he could say that he was juicing before.Last edited by Bring It On; 04-30-2014, 06:26 PM.Comment

Exactly. Stephen A. Smith, Mr. Respectful, is always going on about how he's always up front and honest, etc. He'll never drop these kinds of accusations next time Pac goes on that show. And you better believe he'd never accuse an American athlete of such a thing without any evidence. ****ing coward. Every time he brings up how much he respects athletes or calls Skip disrespectful, I hope someone reminds this dreadful scum of the time he spent the better part of his morning slandering Manny Pacquiao. They went too far today.
