Tyson does not have a great resume at all nor did he have longevity...we all love Tyson because he was exciting and knocked people out..but lets be honest he wasn't beating great fighters and was only on top for 4 years..If we are going to punish Wlad for his weak resume we have to do the same for Tyson..Wlad has longevity on his side which Tyson did not

You know they thought after the fight was stopped, in the corner, that he had a brain aneurysm or haemorrhage or something, right? That could have been the end of his career and even life right there, I don't think we can question his heart in that fight, although stamina was of course an issue, for whatever reasons (even if only punching himself out).

MMMM, lookin back at it, it may have been more stamina issues than hurt but Wlad did show a reluctance to come back after KDs in previous fights and looked more like David Price in the second TT fight.

i have no problem with wlad fighting leapais of the world. i love it he looks great fighting lower caliber fighters. if he would of beat haye, povetkin and all other of his top wins like that then i would have him as a top 5 atg right now.

I agree, if Wlad had dominated the best guys in his era like he does the mediocre ones then I'd have him a lot higher too.

Wlad wasn't really in his prime when he lost to the first two.

Wlad proved he can come back from adversity in the Peter fight, since then, hardly anyone has really pushed him. It's this period which will probably be known as his absolute peak.

Wlad has longevity but Tyson's resume is better than Wlad's, with an incredible 90 second win over Spinks, wins over the likes of Ruddock and even a mentally ill Golota are better than most of Wlad's opponents. Not to mention a few other top contenders.

But it's not all about resume, Tyson was faster, hit harder, better to watch, better footwork and incredible defensive skills in his prime. He was the complete offensive fighter.

Tyson has a slightly better resume and much better overall skill and natural talent, compared to Wlad's longevity and better skills at fighting on the outside. I'm edging it to Tyson.

Skills and what could have been is not a factor in ranking someone.....Spinks was semi retired and a lightheavyweight with 2 controversial wins over Holmes who himself has a weak resume..Golatas claim to fan is spassing out and causing a brawl with Bowe and Razzor Rud**** is only known for dazzing Tyson... i grew up on Tyson and think he had all the skills in the world..loved him..but his resume is weak as ****..he lost to the greats of his era and it wasn't even close..sorry but Wlad should rank higher

Ali had ****ing parkinsons and looked terrible...and Spinks was a damn light heavyweight..Holmes fought in a terrible era..He won his title from a old drunk looking Ken Norton and solidified it with a win over a half ******ed Ali..His resume is no better then Wlads
