Apparently al haymon is interested in signing chavez. That would mean chavez working with golden boy and showtime and put the fight in jeopardy. Yes, you deduced correctly, Sherlock Holmes. Al Haymon has already offered JCC Jf a multi-million dollar contract. About $47M IIRC. Ridiculous amount for someone of Chavez' ability, but i see this more as Haymon/GBP trying to get at Bob than actually valuing Chavez so highly. They would likely put a stipulation in the contract that he has to keep winning against big names to earn all that. Once he loses they would probably drop him or pay him a lot less, yet they would have spoiled it for Bob. Dirty tricks is all this is, imo.
