Highly doubt it since the headquarters of the WBA is based in Panama would think they would favor Jones since he is Panamanian. ... just saying

Most of the post I've read on this thread were pretty ignorant to say the least, blaming Don King and Jones when the Russians were the ones who violated the WBA rules by taking blood and urine in which they were not authorized to take. And to make things worse, there's no B sample. And you dummies must have a brain the size of a mustard seed not to have figured out that something is not right. The Russians have clearly done something crooked here and to a lesser extent highly su****ious. Lebedev will still have to fight Jones no matter what. He's not going to be let off the hook that easily, or Lebedev will be stripped.

Honestly,this is a bad story from the start because the russians didn't want to stop the fight when LEBEDEV was risking too much and his face was destroyed,they were not concerned about the health of DENIS during the brutal beating and now the famous cynicism of Don King makes the end of this bad story even worse. There's only one victim here and he is LEBEDEV,he has around horrible persons that first want him to fight to the death except then show affection to him and to his health only for future business!!!

Don King's explanation is an insult to the intelligence. Why would Ryabinski promote a fight with his own money if he never had any intention of letting it happen?
Sounds like they took the tests early, without waiting for the WBA rep to arrive, because they wanted to get the results before the fight happened, rather than have Lebedev take another horrible beating and then find out Jones was juiced again afterwards.
Whether the WBA was there or not, if the test was done by an accredited organisation, and the follow up analysis is positive also, then Jones and King should be banned from boxing for good.

Agree with you there, and it almost happened again - the WBA wanted the fight to go on even though Jones clearly failed the test again just so they could get their fee. Lebedev got a little justice in not being forced to fight a cheater, but he still wasted a lot of money and time to go out to Cali to train. If he's lucky, his manager covered the cost.

Agreed. A conspiracy that holds no water. Jones is a 3 times cheater, and Don King is one of the biggest swindlers in the game, but people still follow him.
