The Greatness of Wladimir Klitschko

Best pure boxing HW of all time:Wlad is actually a very skilled heavyweight, especially for his size. Just because he has changed his style since 2004, doesn't negate what he has in his repertoire and what he CAN do and HAS done in the past. He still has great footwork, great jab and left hook, and pole of a right hand. In his prior offensive days, he exhibited a wider range of skills, although this negated the defense. Sure, he doesn't have much of an inside game, but he is an outside fighter...similar to Tyson fighting on the outside. You fight to the effectiveness of your physical dimensions.
Wlad isn't an Ali in terms of pure skills, but he is still fairly high up there, and definitely near/at the top for the true big, big men.
1) Ali (consensus)
2) Holmes
3) Vitali or Lewis
4) Wlad, Vitali, Lewis or Tunney (any order)
5) Wlad, Vitali, Lewis or Tunney (any order)Comment

It would matter...............IF..............
I could care any less for their opinions.
Like Lennox Lewis, Vitali and Wlad will obtain their rightful spot in history several years after their retirements.Comment

To those saying that Foreman would sash Povetkin because the latter had a hard fight with Huck.
Foremand doesn't have the quarter of the speed that Huck has.
If Foreman and Povetkin were to fight, you should ask yourself : would Foremand be able to land at least 7-8 hard punches on Povetkin's head? I don't think so.
Povetkin is way too athletic for Foreman. Just look at Povetkin's footwork, balance and feints. This guy is clearly an elite boxer!
I am a Wladimir Klitschko supporter but I really believe that Povetkin can give it to him if he suddenly gets old/ doesn't apply the right strategy.
When it comes to the Charr-Povetkin fight, tell me I am crazy but I believe Povetkin would struggle more against Charr then Foreman
-------> Why do I believe in this controversial statement?
Well, Charr means PURE PRESSURE ( when he wants to put it) and a solid defence with his shell guard. To land flush on Charr you must throw 3-4 accurate punches. The only current boxers that would land clean on Charr in less thant 3 punches* would be Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye because of their very fine skills.
So there is clearly a danger that Povetkin gets tired in the second half of the fight if Charr puts pressure as he 's used to do it masterfully.
Still Povetkin is 60-40 favorite to me though. Apart from his defence and stamina, he outclasses Charr in every department ( speed , reflexes and a little more power). Povetkin fights very well on his frontfoot, but will he be able to fight on his frontfoot on fight night? That is, to me, the biggest question that we should ask ourselves for this fight!Comment
