People here all sleep on Corrie... but there's a reason he's the ONLY one to really sleigh a Klitschko & that was his RARE combination of speed & power coming from the southpaw stance. Haye was scared shetless to get hit & therefore only lunged at Klitschko for the most part & played defense almost exclusively the entire bout.
Not to mention a bit of overlooking his opponent by Wladimir. He just didn't know what a threat Corrie was at that time. Understandably since the guy was not that active and kind of came in under the radar.

I gaurantee the current version of Wlad would obliterate the very best Corrie Sander, RIP.

Sure, guys like Louis, Holyfield, Frazier, Foreman, Lewis, and Tyson were exciting as hell to watch during their day, but they also took a ton of abuse. Had they been intelligent like ATG Wlad, they'd have just jabbed and held their opponent like a raving f*ggot until he was so tired he could barely stand and then secured the KO.

Did Muhammad Ali ever get KTFO'd by a part time golfer with 13 losses?

      I rest my case.

      Wlad.
It's kind of ironic that all of the fighters you mentioned there except one bum beater had way shorter title reigns than Wladimir. I guess he should just start fighting in a way that makes him vulnerabe just because it's the entertaining thing to do according to you.

A lot of people here like to hype up past heavyweights just because they grew up watching them or something. In reality, modern fighters are superior in every shape, form, and fashion. They'd barely invented color television back in Ali's day, FFS.

They're kidding themselves if they think someone like Mike Tyson would beat someone as slick and talented as Sultan Ibragimov. It just wouldn't happen.
It's also ludacris to think that somebody like Wladimir would have any chance against prime Tyson with his size, reach, jab and far superior technical ability. No way, no how. Only a legend like Buster Douglas could have pulled that off.

Very possible. Frazier had a very hard left hook and knew how to close the gap quickly but think about it. If Haye took that away from him like he did Chisora, what else did Frazier have to beat him with? Don't say Haye couldn't knock him out because David is bigger than Frazier and is considered a small heavy by today's standards.

I know, heavyweight legends like James Toney should be immortalized and the Klitschko's ignored.

              You mean ludicrous.

Unless of course you're referring to this guy...

What gift did Lennox get against Commander Vander?

The W he got against a prime Ray Mercer is debatable.. fortunately we know now that if you beat Mercer when he was 41 years old, it'd make you an ATG.

Lol, I have avatars turned off, forgot I even had toney there.

But see how I am a fan of James toney, but can remain objective about him.? I won't deny his shortcomings, won't try to skew facts about him or his opponents, won't pretend he was legend at HW lol, cause I'm a BOXING fan first and foremost, not a fanboy of a particular fighter.
