to say that he ducked the rematch is just sure ******ation............
Saying it wasn't a duck could only be believed by a moron who doesn't belong on a boxing site and should stick to hoops or something they actually know anything about.

Hes faced the 2nd best heavyweight 4 times in his career you moron.

Not ever comparable. One weight class of fighters to face.

No because Lennox said at the post fight interview with Larry that he would give the rematch.

Even without a rematch, Lewis is still better than Vitali.

Can't a guy prefer one fighter over the other WITHOUT it having to do with race?

when something is wrong i will speak the truth regardless of what side it's on.

lets say joe louis beat Marciano in a competitive fight but didn't give him the rematch nore stepped in the ring again against anyone. that would be like saying "joe louis ducked the rematch. he ducked" what does it matter considering that louis is out of shape and at the tale end of his career.......it's it's ****** it's pathetic & it's dumb. now there would be a better case for vitali if lewis avoided the fight prime for prime............but don't give me the hog **** about lewis ducking a rematch at the tale end of his career............

                it's remedial.............

What if Louis said he'd give a rematch, repeating it over and over? And then saying no, but if you beat so and so, THEN I'd grant a rematch. Marciano then does that and then about a year after their first fight, Louis says no. I'm retiring.

What would you then call Louis's move?

Lennox was only 36/37 at the time of the fight if he is out of his prime then that is his fault and proves that he isn't as great an athlete as some claim he is.
Plus like alot of boxing experts claim Lennox reached his prime in his later years so either Lennox only had 4/5 years of his prime in his career or people are making excuses for him.

The fact that at 37 Lewis slapped up a guy like Vitali speaks volumes about his greatness. Who was the best fighter Wlad stopped beyond 35?
