One of the best and most successful boxers to ever put on gloves. It is good for the sport. It teaches young guys how to market, how to be humble post fight, etc.

This isn't the 60s anymore. PPV/Marketing is a big thing. This is lost on a lot of fans.

It won't be a world of shoulder rolling because guys would just end up doing Berto and getting the sheeeeeet beat out of em.

It is about hitting and not getting hit (clean). He does make for an entertaining fight for about 6 rounds then you get the picture. I would like to see him with more athletic boxers of his weight class. How often do we see him fight ANY boxer of HIGH caliber that isn't old? Only guy that I'll give him credit for is Zab, but everyone knows that he has no abilities to adjust and Mayweather new that.

Floyd's a great talent, but it's not like he's the first fighter with a defensive style. He'll be known more for the rights he didn't take. But hey, he makes that cash don't he?

On a side note, was there really a need for another Floyd legacy thread?

It has, but people who used it never made 40 million dollars a fight before.
