Will it be a good for the sport?

Now I don't mean his resume or anyone he's fought, nothing like that.. but the fact he's at the top of the sport by being a pure boxer. We've already seen youngsters aspiring to copy his style (like Pretty boy Bam Bam, Broner, etc).. If people get into boxing by watching his fights, surely they will stick around as they have an appreciation for the sweet science.

Will we be seeing shoulder roll guards as the norm in 10-15 years time?

I think you now see fighters focus more on their finances and try to tighten their defense up so they can fight longer and make more money...Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit period..only a fool would go out there and take punishment, that is just ******

Good call, Larry... before Floyd came along, fighters were saying "I'll try and get repeatedly hit in the face with my guard down". Only Mayweather put a different idea into their heads.

Yea great post,expecially when you look at posts and threads on here about all that warrior bull****..Floyd is the highest payed boxer..EVER!!!! and gets hit less then any boxer EVER!!! like it or not i am stating facts...
