How Do Maidana fans feel about Chino being called a "Bum?"

It's one thing to call John Molina or Julio Diaz bums (which they arent), but to call Maidana a bum? You have to be one dense cunt. Words can't explain how fucked in the head you are if deep down in your little edgy cunt you believe Maidana is a bum.Comment

I don't hold him to his talent, I hold him to his status, the champion had to defend against the top contender. You can't hold the guy's talent against him. You should hold him to the same standard you hold every other top fighter to.
Ring, Espn, and Boxrec all have their opinions of where Maidana ranks but they all agree he is a top guy at welter and one of the four belt holders. Fighting a top guy at your division, especially a champion, can not be considered a cherry pick.
I never said Maidana wasn't a top 10 welterweight, I just said that your opinion that he is a top five WW is just that your opinion and that most credible rankings don't have him ranked thus (incl. the transnational boxing rankings).Comment

Well the top contender for Floyd's WBC welterweight belt is Luis Abregu (the guy that Bradley beat a few years back.) If you really wanted Floyd to fight the top contender you'd be harping for that fight lol.I don't hold him to his talent, I hold him to his status, the champion had to defend against the top contender.

Considering the options given to him due to the Toprank/Goldenboy cold war Maidana is the best option for Floyd. And Floyd is certainly the best option for Maidana. They get to unify the titles and see who the best at welter is.Comment

You can't be that dumb... I don't mean the top ranked contender by a sanctioning body...Well the top contender for Floyd's WBC welterweight belt is Luis Abregu (the guy that Bradley beat a few years back.) If you really wanted Floyd to fight the top contender you'd be harping for that fight lol.

We don't really pay too much attention to sanctioning bodies when it comes to serious boxing conversations.Comment

Then wtf do you mean? You are only considered a "contender" by a sanctioning body. You're the same guy who thinks Pacquiao fought Marquez five times and that Marquez fought Mayweather at 147 pounds lol.
There's no point in arguing with an idiot. We're doneComment

Maidana is not a bum.
He's got power and heart and is coming off a big win.
I wouldn't call it a cherry pick either , but it is, imo, a total mismatch nonetheless.
A guy who got outboxed by Alexander and Khan, without knocking out either, is not going to K.O. Mayweather. Needless to say he's -not- going to get a decision.
He couldn't knock out a flat footed Broner who stood in front of him most of the fight, and now I have to believe he really has a chance to K.O. Mayweather because of a high ko ratio?.
Unlikely at best.Comment

I don't get why people mention the Broner fight as a reason for his lack of power, if he does that to Floyd twice as in 2 Kd's he could even win on points.
broner could have been stopped in that fight anyway, ref gave him a slow count on the first (and that dance he did when he got up was a stoppable offence in some ref's opinion) and in the 2nd Maidana spoiled it by giving broner a 3 min rest period after the headbutt. Its not like he didn't hurt Broner.Comment

You think I care how that makes Floyd look? I don't. I'm not going pretend Maidana is a good fighter because my favorite fighter is signed to fight him. I'm annoyed with the Maidana propaganda to be honest. Can't wait until Floyd beats his ass so I don't have to hear about his KO rate or his "punches from weird angles". I mean give me a break.
