After seeing all the threads bashing Chino as a flat footed, tailor-made opponent for Floyd I was wondering how his fans feel about this? I know people are only trashing Chino as a way to diminish Floyd if he were to win. So again, How do the Maidana fans feel about this?

People are acting like Maidana is a pushover. How the hell is a guy in his absolute prime, with an 80% KO ratio, and the current WBA welterweight champion of the world, a pushover?

I laugh, no one who holds a legit belt is a bum, no bum sons a great warrior like Erik Morales, Floyd would never face a bum. Bums are fighters with near or below .500 records and are at best, glorified club fighters, at worst, tomato cans.

Broner was a farce and a hypejob. That doesn't change the fact that his belt is legitamately recognized, which is what I meant, he isn't an interim champ. True bums are never on PPV except for maybe the lowest card of the fight at best.

Chino has always been called a bum, and yet he's 35-3 with 31 KOs, on a guy that goes down but never stays down. I'll take more bums like that. Please.

In good conscience I can't say that I don't think that Floyd will win (with a possibly wide UD), but I can certainly hope that Chino will bring it. Anybody that thinks Chino doesn't have a chance is kidding themselves. Most of his shots are hard, a good shot from him can change the tenor of a round, and a great shot can put anybody on their rear end. That includes Floyd. This will be Floyd's toughest post Hatton fight with the possible exception of Cotto. This will be his most dangerous opponent since Hatton. It could go very wrong for Floyd. The worst version of this fight is one where Chino fixates and follows, and gets potshotted in ones all night, thought I very much think and hope it will be better than that.

I don't care about his box rec stats. He's not a good fighter. He's terrible imo. Sorry. Don't know what you want me to say. You think I care how that makes Floyd look? I don't. I'm not going pretend Maidana is a good fighter because my favorite fighter is signed to fight him. I'm annoyed with the Maidana propaganda to be honest. Can't wait until Floyd beats his ass so I don't have to hear about his KO rate or his "punches from weird angles". I mean give me a break.
