I don't know about epic fight but he's never had an epic matchup. Oscar was shot and Canelo was not on his level. Those are the closest so far but there was no Sergio, Manny, etc. Makes his resume pretty uninspiring

Corrales, Gatti, Hatton were all top names he beat very convincingly. What are you asking for? That's three for three in the TKO department. Hatton had one of the largest fan bases in boxing.

The point is to beat the best and in taking on the best you're going to have some epic fights. Floyd hasn't taken on the best and therefore hasn't had any epic fights.

Nope. And he won't. There will always be a ? around his resume.

You can't penalize a fighter for dominating whoever they put in front of him.
                  Toney and Chavez?

Doesn't have to be epic in the sense of a great hard fight, but simply a fight against someone who is a 100% proven great themselves.

We'll see what Canelo does for the rest of his career. That could prove to be an epic win over the next ten years.

Fighting Pac would have been that fight.

Imagine if Ali never fought Foreman, or if Hagler never fought Hearn.

Imagine if SRL never fought Duran. If Tyson had never fought Holyfield.

That's what Floyd is doing by ignoring Pac. Refusing to fight the counterpart in his era.
