What were the epic moments in Roy Jones and Sweet Pea's careers?

You can't penalize a fighter for dominating whoever they put in front of him.

Ditto for the guys at 175 claiming to be the best while Kovalev is waiting for a fight.

        The fans know...
has he contacted stevensons team yet? or are they gonna wait for the hopkins vs stevenson fight first and then try to get a fight with the winner?

lol a beatdown of a washed up fighter who wasnt that great despite his undeserved HOF status and a foul fest spoiling fight vs a grossly overrated Hatton are what you call epic?

roy jones has had plenty of epic ko's in his career. His offensive style during his prime despite sorry opposition were awe inspiring. his fight vs toney was epic. Floyd's spoiling defensive style and aversion to fighting great opposition is the reason why he hasnt really had any memorable fights.

I thought about this myself quite a few times. There is no true defining fight in Jr.'s career that you can look back to and see how he dug into the well and truly showed himself. What? Gathering himself together after eating 1 or 2 clean shots from Mosley? Big deal, doesn't mean jack. A signature win generally comes when you go into deep water with your rival or nemesis type fighter who brings that out of you because he's your equal. Unfortunately, Jr. doesn't take enough risk to find out who is his equal and rather keep the wool over many eyes.

Boxing is hit without getting hit. Plain and simple. Notice how the "fans" who complain about Floyd's lack of risk-taking, also happen to be fans of guys without defense. Guys who have no choice but to take risks, because they can't fight any other way.

Roy Jones and Sweet Pea never claimed to be "T.B.E."

Iīm not saying he isnīt great..he is probably the best fighter of this era...but he doesnīt have that epic fight or moment yet...the fight that we will always remember him for..i donīt know if it is because he doesnt take risks, or because he carefully picks his opponents....question is: WILL HE HAVE IT before he retires???

Just like Ward, Rigo etc... They completely shutdown their opponents. They take away the one weapon the fighter has, because they are one dimensional and thats not their faults. To be competetive with these kind of fighters you have to match them in skills.
