And he's scared of this man? A guy he's already beaten? Yeah..
i don't agree with that either. that's purely fanboy talk. i do would like to see a rematch in the future though.

But yeah Danny's scared to death of that guy A guy he's already beaten.

This isn't post Matthysse-Peterson anymore. You can't live in that time frame forever sadly.

      Danny has beaten Matthysse.
You wanna know what a comfortable win is? Rigo over Donaire. Rigo over Agbeko. Mayweather over every cherrypick he's fought. Those are comfortable wins.

No, they are dominating wins. Shut out victories or close to it.

Garcia didn't dominate Matthysse but he won he unquestionably won the fight I.e He won it comfortably.

Like I said, this isn't post Matthysse-Peterson anymore. I know that was the best time ever for Matthysse fans where they convinced themselves Garcia was scared of Matthysse but here in reality he not only took the fight with Matthysse but beat him.

Danny's "worst nightmare" is a guy he's beaten

i dont believe he's scared, most boxers have huge ego's and if he is he'll fight through it and you wont notice it, he might have some doubts in the rematch tho considering matthysse's eye swelling obviously changed the course of the fight, he was landing next to nothing before the eye too, in the fight lucas made him ******ed in some instances after landing a punch, danny looked to be gradually folding also before he got matthysse's eye to swell

i think he has plenty to worry about, but as a fighter he wont let it get to him and will simply believe in himself

Without the bogus knockdown call in the 11th Matthysse would have won on two of the three judes scorecards. That is not a comfortable margin or clear win.

                WBC list of fouls

10.Hitting the opponent when part of his body is out of the ropes.

Yeah except it wasn't a bogus knockdown.

These things happen in fights, it's like saying Porter's stoppage of Pauli was bogus because he hit him when he was in the ropes.

It happened in a split second, he hit Matthysse, he dropped.

I heard about that. Figueroa tried downplaying it saying he doesn't remember Belmontes. But I bet he remembers him quite well.

Golota throwing a three punch combination to Bowe'e balls happened in a split second but it doesn't make it any more legal.

Garcia landed a rabbit punch with his forearm then pulled his head down by the back of the neck then pushed him into the ropes by the back of his head and threw a combination when his upper body was tied up under the top rope. All three of those things which led to the supposed knockdown are illegal.

It happens when you have an incompetent or corrupt ref and considering the lack of warnings or deductions for clinching and low blows i would guess the latter.
