For the life of me, I can't understand why anybody wouldn't want to see a rematch. The first fight was the best fight of the night on that card and, while a clear victory for Garcia, it was close and competitive enough to warrant a rematch.

Add to that the fact that both guys have expressed their desire to move up to 147lbs where the possibility exists that their punches will be even more powerful.

Hope to see it next year sometime.

Love it, keep asking for it and putting the pressure on them. I would be very confident betting on Matthysse. If these two were to fight 5 times, Matthysse wins 4 out of 5. The first one was the exception.

I would love to see the rematch.

STFO!!!! The ref was a disaster , danny garcia all the fight hitting low blows!!!

The fight was real close in fact , lucas that 11 round he was clearly winnning until that KO wich was more a thing with the ropes than a punch from ***** garcia.

and at least he last much more than 4 rounds like all time greatest from bolton

Floyd, Manny, Bradley, JMM, Maidana. Porter and Thurman might be too much for Garcia as well. When you come up as a champ in a lower division, you don't seek to be a contender in your new division, you seek to be champ. I don't see Danny making much of a spash at 147.

I agree with Floyd nobody is touching him.
Manny,Bradley,JMM are irrelevant because of the TR,HBO-GB,SHO Cold War.
I think danny would be 50-50 with Maidana,Thurman,and Porter.
