I respect Floyd's abilities. But don't root for him,for certain reasons. Either way I get pumped when he's testing himself against a worthy ppv like he did against canelo, they make good fight party's
A question for my Latino fight fans.

This is why manny is such a big hit with mexican/mexican american fans. W,l or draw just wanna see good fights ya knowhow can you be a fan of an athlete that doesn't care about his fans? mexicans are considered one of the reasons why the sport of boxing is very popular in north america. they love fighters that love to fight the best in the world and they***8217;re the kind of fans that will never respect cowards.

I agree with you a hundred percent. I never proofread. Its a forum who cares. I talk about Vegas a lot by fight happens here. Posters sprout on about this and that. They don't live here they some have never even be here. So I clear up a lot of that bs. From the point avowed of someone who lives and Vegas an knows what's going on. What I do for a living I have to know and care about who's fighting. So I know when who and what's going on. Nightlife and boxing go hand and hand in Vegas my guy.Comment

smh at the thread title and the statement by the ts...
Latinos, Mexicanos and Chicanos in particular, come out to party on those weekends not because floyd is fighting per se, but because fmjs fights are on Cinco de Mayo and el Diez y Seis! Its true that Mexicos/Chicanos are one of, if not the biggest fight fans in the world, but i can tell you A LOT of them, lets say the majority of them, are NOT floyd fans. I was there for the ortiz and canelo fights and yes, there were a sh.it load of mexicanos/chicanos on the strip, but most of them were rooting for victor and canelo! I remember i was in the playboy club and later that night in tao after the ortiz fight and the dj said something about how floyd kicked ortiz as.s and damn near the whole club booed. Same thing after the canelo fight. granted, there were a few latinos rooting for floyd but its more of a coincidence that there's an influx of people in vegas on the weekends floyd fights....Comment

I never make up anything. I ask serious question. I'm a lakers fans. So the equivalent of these guys coming up from Mexico buying all the big dollar seats. In the hopes of Guerrero beating mayweather doesn't make sense. Unless you would wanna see Floyd fight. It's like me being the lakers fan that I'am flying to Miami with my girl buying floor seats to a heats game. When I know the lakers have no chance of winning. In doing so yes I would be rooting for the lakers, but paying to see Lebron James. Make sense?Comment

That all makes sense. I'm going off the clientele they spend big money when ever Floyd fight, even if they guy has no chance. Now let's take a Marquez pacquaio fight. The Mexican in the fight has a better chance of winning. You still don't see the pageantry and exuberance from the clientele of when a Latino is up against mayweather. Pit could be a historic quest of theirs to be there when he loses I guessLatinos, Mexicanos and Chicanos in particular, come out to party on those weekends not because floyd is fighting per se, but because fmjs fights are on Cinco de Mayo and el Diez y Seis!
