The bottom line is that GBP has financial issues speaks much louder than Schaeffer's claim. How about Mayweather vs Guerrero?

If GBP were making "good money", Oscar would not come out the way he is doing. Canelo vs Pacquiao?! Are you ****ing serious? LOL

And why would Shaeffer poo poo himself that he didn't make that $$ for GBP?

IF GBP were making "good money" why would Oscar want to "Thaw in the cold war"? The bottom line is GBP OVERALL has not been making $$ over the years. The investors want to make $$. It's ****ing too late. GBP is dying.
It would seem that you're one of those who won't believe your lying eyes even when some relevant documentation is presented Or did you even take a moment to ****in learn something by reading the damn article!!!

Some of you ****in morons come on the NSB spewing non-stop BS day in and day out, yet whenever an opportunity is given for you to learn about boxing -- you put on your blinders and continue your full-****** routine.

Don't ****in comment on my posts if you're stuck on being an Idiot.

You and your ****ing twin up there are both ****ing ******.
These are mostly REVENUE figures. They do NOT show PROFITABILITY figures.

ANd if you look at what I ****ing wrote, you would have know I am talking about other ****ing fights such as big money loser like Guerrero vs Mayweather among others. GET A ****ING CLUE!

If Canelo vs Mayweather were SOOOOOOO PROFITABLE (NOT just REVENUE), Oscar wouldn't ****ing wave the white flag and dangle the only viable option (AKA: over hype Canela ) to Arum for a Pacquiao fight.

Shaeffer basically took a brown shower on Golden Boy in public. Golden Boy is ****ing done. Drained of $$ at this point. They are ****ing done WITH or WITHOUT Shaeffer.

If I recall correctly, there was a quote from Schaefer somewhere on this site, the week after the May / Canelo fight, in which he clearly states that while the revenues were thru the roof, GBP didnt stand to make much money if any, due to a number of reason, one of them being the huge amount spent on the promotion for that fight.

        Revenues dont equate to profitability.

I couldn't have agreed with you more. This budding relationship between Schaefer and Haymon would be very troubling to say the least if I was Oscar De La Hoya. The thought of a possible takeover has probably crossed his mind at least more than once; Especially in the face of all these recent Al Haymon signings with GBP. Typically, no one brings that kind of exclusive talent and business to your company, unless there is an ulterior motive behind it.
