Then oscar needs to replace Richard. He needs somebody in there to help repair the relationship with the other big promotion,and other big tv network. I'm sure there's plenty of good businessmen that would love to be CEO of Gbp

It only gonna get worse, rumor has it Schaefer is in talks with Al Haymon to form their own company, Haymon offer JJC Jr. 43 mill to sign with him, resently JJC Jr. told Bob Arun "NO" to an extension in the contract. Bob Arum wanted JCC Jr. to sign that contract in the same contract to fight GGG, that the real reason that fight has not being sign yet.

I think by 2015-16 you will hear Haymon's Promotions with Schaefer as a CEO and GBP & TR working together, making this rivalry even bigger, because at least 1/3 of GB fighters will go with Haymon Promotions plus some of TR guys.

At this point it behooves Oscar to fix his relationship with Richard, instead of with Arum.

Lets be real, Golden Boy is arguably the top promotional company in boxing today because of Richard's guidance. People hate him because of his ties to Mayweather and Al Haymon, but lets not be blind, the guy knows how to run a business.

And he's right about Arum. Arum has been notoriously difficult to work with, he's had problems with boxers, and other promoters long before Schaffer was even in the boxing scene.

For the life of me, I still can't understand how has people here who defend him.

Wow...looks like Oscar and Arum want to end the cold war to possibly discuss a Canelo-Pac showdown but the CEO Schaefer wants no part of working with other promoters. This sucks. I always thought Schaefer was the one who was open to working with Top Rank??

HBO can deal with Oscar. They don't trust Schaefer. Schaefer didn't trust HBO. He thinks he's being cheated and HBO is manipulating numbers. You can recall Schaefer questioning HBO ratings. He thought they're fake... Now that Schaefer had a first hand look at the numbers, he's realizing that boxing is really not that profitable for networks. He wants to make fights, but money doesn't grow on Showtime's premises.
