So let me get this straight.

I can go to a bar start a conversation with some girl, invite her back to my place under false pretenses, ply her with alcohol and get knocked back numerous times by her over my sexual advances, then when she tries to leave I physically try to make her stay. And when she tries to resist I use more force until she is forced to lash out at me to get away, and the police come and arrest her.

S#!t like that happens sometimes. They probably was talking and everything was cool then dude invited him over and Ouma being a friendly guy accepted. For all we know the guy could have been acting like he was interested in women. I doubt Ouma is suspect because if that was/is the case then he would not have knocked dude out. Sounds like he was caught off guard and put on the spot.

While true, it sucks to be a part of a society that treats its members like this, he shouldn't have gotten arrested in the first place, the law is so flawed here in the US.

I hate the fact that as a mature adult I can't ever take care of things on my own, for fear of police involvement and an overall damaging event that could possibly afect my career. Since when can't adults handle themselves and their own problems? I should be able to put a guy out cold if I feel threatened and not have to sit for 6 hours in a precinct about it.
