Are you implying that Chavez all of the sudden doesn't want to fight GGG?

Because that is not what is happening here. Chavez Jr. isn't saying no to the fight, he is saying no to the contract extension. Two different things.

Yes, the boxing business is more complex than the derivatives market...
... Fortunately, there exist benevolent people around who explain how it works...

remember when floyd and jcc jr went to the Lakers game? Let me give a brief synopsis:

Floyd: Haymon says you can make a ****load more like me if you come to GBP and let him manage you.
JCC: (high) can I have your burger I'm f'in hungry
        Floyd: are you listening?
JCC: yeah dude, Haymon, GBP, more money. Now, whats up with the burger.

On a serious note-Canelo V Chavez Jr. is the biggest fight in the sport other than floyd v manny. If Bob and HBO will not work with GBP, what other options does chavez have to get that fight made.

Did he signed for this fight yet? As we are aware, Jr. started this "I need more money" discussion exactly when he was about to sign... Am I wrong?

What would be great is if he beat GGG first (yeah right) then fought Canelo.

I thought you said he owes them one more fight anyway? So wouldn't that be GGG?

"One more fight" doesn't necessary mean that it's the GGG fight... It's "a fight", in general...
... Jr. didn't sign for the GGG fight just yet...

Yeah. I'm actually upset because I liked the idea of the GGG v chavez Jr fight.

Chavez doesn't appear to be professional and dedicated enough to stay in shape so they probably have to fight sooner rather than later.

Is his argument over what he's getting paid for that fight? Or the extension? Seems we're discussing two different things.
