  • What does coming into fights in shape, have to do with money? The man wants to see the books, he wants to see how much he generates for TR. What's wrong with that? Ask GGG if he feels that Chavez Jr. should have to sign a contract extension with TR to fight him. I bet GGG would NOT say that's fair. In fact, I don't believe GGG is signed to TR. Chavez Jr. is the A-side, he should be paid like one.

    • Theres enough money to be made for all the parties in the boxing negogiation.
Top Rank just wants to keep majority of it.

I don't see why people are still taking up for Arum, You have to make a profit in a business, but not the way Arum is doing, robbing all of his fighters, so OF COURSE he is making money.

I love how boxing fans feel they can tell Top Rank boxers what fair and whats not.

just as an example angulo almost made a million on his last fight but none of that came from a ppv pct.. you can either get a great base and no ppv, or a low base with a good ppv share...
i remember weeks after the fight when chavez jr came positive for marihuana and was penalized for that, people were saying that the penalty was huge compared to what chavez jr made for that fight, and on those days they were talking about 3 million only...
just remember when sheafer offered cotto over 10 mil to fight canelo, arum clearly said he couldnt guarantee that much to cotto, not even after ppv share...
cotto fighting martinez is probably going to end up making about the same as canelo did vs angulo.. and we know that ppv should twice the numbers...

... It's beginning to look like the "Adonis' situation"...
It appears his contract is up after his next fight, and Top Rank is trying to leverage him into re-signing with them by giving him the GGG fight.

Same thing thing they just did with Bradley, giving him the Manny rematch only if he re-ups with them. Chavez isn't going for it, and he shouldn't.

I wonder how the purse split between the promoters and fighters works at Top Rank, I haven't really looked into it.

              • is long term contracts that prevent the best fights from happening, they should do as cotto, go in a fight by fight basis and make the most money offered for either promoter..

Get your ggg dyck riding ass outta here! It is funny how ggg was willing to move up to 168 when he wasn't fighting a certain guy! Shall I dare say his name? You know who I am talking about to!

Ward would demolish GGG, he has been calling him out, saying HBO was "force feeding us, trying to make him a star!" And Ward also said "GGG and his team said they are willing to fight anybody from 154-175 so what is the problem facing me?"

So do you support ggg ducking Ward at 168? And NOBODY on his team replied back to anything Ward said I wonder why! NEXT
