In a perfect world, this would make sense. Chavez is making good money and he should just fight. The problem is Chavez doesn't want good money, he wants great money, and lets be honest he deserves it.
This guy moves the ratings.
If Andre Ward was paid 2 million by HBO to fight Rodriguez, why wouldn't Chavez think he's worth double or if not triple what Ward is if Chavez constantly receives high ratings even when fighting bums like Vera?

So how come ggg and his team went quiet when Ward said "HBO is trying to force feed ggg as a star"? He also said "They are willing to fight ANYBODY from 154-175 and anybody does mean ANYBODY right?" So if you will face anybody from those weight classes than why not Ward?

Like I said, Ward fights for HBO, is not signed with Haymon, does not have a fight lined up or signed nor does ggg at the moment, they both were looking to fight at 168 their next fight! SO WHAT'S THE ISSUE?
