Why do you think Shawn Porter beat Paulie Malignaggi so easy?

I think part of it is that porter is a pretty strong guy at 154 and he moved down so he was even stronger and paulie is not really a big 147 pounder so the strength/weight made a difference. but paulie was so easy to hit with big looping shots, why do you think that happend? do you think paulie is done?

That and he mixes his attack up well. He's got a solid jab, and is really physically imposing at 147 lbs

He'd give Keith Thurman serious problems, and would be favored to win hands down IMO. Thurman's D is leaky, and he would have some problems dealing with Porter inside.

Porter is a strong fighter. He has good hand and foot speed. He has a very solid jab and mixes up his attack well. Paulie didn't have an answer for anything Porter brought to the table.

Paulie isn't a good puncher and he's at the end of his career. Porter showed him zero respect and got rid of him quickly. I didn't expect such a quick destruction but it was an awful matchup for Paulie.

paulie has a lot of wear and tear, he is past his best and can't use his legs as much, which is 1/2 of his game, jab and move. people have been saying this since 3 fights ago. not sure why you'd be shocked that a young, strong kid beat him with pressure.

Paulie had no legs for the fight, he was loosing balance by just moving not even getting hit! The legs go first and with Paulie that's his first defense and offense he has no power at all. This was a set up fight for the kid to beat Paulie late or by distance. The problem with that plan was that Paulie had no legs and once he started getting moved by punches then hit cleanly you saw his eyes reactions!!!!!
If you don't understand that look you still don't understand or recognize when a fighter is in trouble. He's lucky he didn't get hurt bad. Time to stop! I hope.
              Ray.

Porter can close the distance well.. Paulie gets killed by fighters that close the distance well

If Karass rocked Thurman, then Porter can as well a couple of times.
I would take Porter by UD

Porter was just too much man for Paulie in almost every way, it was a horrendously bad match-up for Paulie.

Paulie relies on movement and pecking at the other guy also holding when the other guy gets close, Porter was pretty much like **** that get over here and once Pauli couldn't keep him at bay he was in trouble because he has no other real defense. So he turned to holding but Porter was just too strong for Pauli to keep him clinched up, if you try to clinch a guy and fail you are wide open which Porter took full advantage of.
