Floyd is far from remarkable. Every great defensive fighter in history will not have gone down much. But no one has been as cautious as Floyd, and not fought much and cherry picked as much.
This cherry picker ducker label is made up by haters. I swear if you know boxing look at the guys Floyd has beaten on his way up and now. He has complete shut down 90% of all the fighters he's fought.
Say what you want about Floyd. You don't have to like him or respect him. He has had 45 professional fights against world class fighters. To go this long in his career never to be knock down or seriously hurt speaks to his greatness. It's almost crazy to fathom that.
He's also the only fighter in history with his health come first.
But even if he fought 45 stiffs that's still amazing. That's like a qb never getting sacked that's like goal keeper never giving up a goal like a basketball player never missing a free throw. In the history of boxing how many ppl never touched the canvas that in it's self is amazing. Stop being so blinded by being a bithc.
It's not amazing what would be amazing is if he's dropped and hurt and gets up to win now that'd be a ****ing shock
You get hit with a punch and your glove touches the canvas its a knockdown, those are the rules. He got knocked down, its not really open for debate.
I think TS's point is that Mayweather has never been brutally knocked down like Broner was against Maidana... or how Chico Corrales was against Jose Luis Castillo. Mayweather's knockdowns were baby knockdowns. Light knockdowns.
