Good fight. Takam looked pretty good last time out against Perez. Now we'll get to see what he's made of. If he gets by Thompson, he's a legit title contender.

Thompson is making the most out of his last run in his 40s. he is taking on pretty solid competition. klitschko, price twice, pulev, solis & now takam. I don't think there is a guy more willing to go on the road & fight quality opponents. this is going to be a tough fight for tony. takam is a truck & he looks to have a granite chin. his neck, shoulders & legs are huge. it's good to see HWs of this caliber fight each other. i'm still not sure how takam lost to Gregory tony. this will be an interesting fight. takam walked through perez's punches & it did take him a few rounds to figure out the southpaw. I think that experience will do him well against Thompson. Thompson is much bigger then perez so I don't know if takam will be able to push him around. the old tiger still has some fire in his belly so I won't count him out. i'm happy this fight is happening.

this was not always the case before the price fights. he scratched & clawed to get fights & was near broke if I remember. he had several fights fall through before his second klitschko fight. he was pretty upset the chambers eliminator got cancelled twice. he never had guys lining up to fight him...

I think that title gives you a top 2 or 3 ranking in WBC.

T.T. is well liked here in the UK, by general sports fans as well as hardcore boxing people. He has a lot of personality, and that "I'll fight anybody" attitude of his is something that many fans feel is missing in the sport nowadays.

                  Another "alleged" prospect getting exposed.

He should be called Tony "Exposay" Thompson based on his recent run.

So the winner will be mandatory challenger in a year.cool, can Takam or TT remain undefeated in that time ? I don't know man.most of the most promising guys in the wbc will have been cast aside in these newly ordered mandatory box offs,I suppose we will see the likes of Charr,Ruiz and Browne steadily climbing the WBC ladder if Chisora and Fury pursue the WBO belt.

We have some exciting match ups to be made this year.cant wait to see how the division unfolds.we seem to have competitive match up after competitive match up within the wbc.
