OK. I think Danny v Herrera 2 is a good semi main for that fight. Canelo and Lara both have english as their 2nd language and Danny could help sell the fight to the casual US viewer.

Someone please try and explain this to me, last night on the Showtime broadcast, Garcia claimed that he would have one more fight at light welter before moving up to 147...if a fighter is already planning two fights ahead and planning on moving up in weight, why does he bother having one more fight at the lower weight? It's not as if there is a big payday waiting for him.

Matthysse ran off and is currently hiding somewhere in Latin America so the rematch is out of the question. The Peterson fight is just a waste, hope it doesn't get made. The only fight left for him at 140 that I give a damn about is against Provodnikov and he's on a whole different network, so why one more fight?

He's got no one to fight because the truth is already out about this guy, yet another Al Haymon/Golden Boy invention.
Matthysse would fight Garica tomorrow and probably win. That would be by FAR his most interesting and best paid fight at the moment but he's not ****** so he's not risking that again after doding that bullet.
After Garcia's last "fight", he should just STFU for a few months and then try to make a comback. People forget quickly enough.

More than likely LSC will be on there. Also doubt that's a fight Danny would take at 140 again. He can't take 2 performances like that in a row...
