Now everyone says that Provodnikov fights on a different network but I believe his HBO deal is up after this fight, and Golden Boy being fine with Ruslan fighting at Barclays Center makes me believe he has a handshake deal to fight either Floyd Mayweather or Danny Garcia.

Banner Promotions has no ties to either network, mainly works with ESPN Friday Night Fights and gets fights on HBO usually because of Top Rank. So I don't think they'll care to move Provodnikov to Showtime if they can get the fights they're looking for.

No reason for him to take the fight, I'm surprised that Herrera's camp isn't trying to get the result overturned or force a rematch like George Groves did. At least a No Contest would be proper for that highway robbery but I think everyone saw that coming. Garcia was a defeated man that night.
