R.I.P, the film is one of my favourites and I advise anyone to watch it, such an inspiring man.

This guy was a triple-murderer, and anyone with common sense can see this. He was a straight thug and people need to know this.
I think that either one or two of his victims were racist *******s, so I can't feel too bad for them, but Carter was also a terrible person either way.

Myth #1
Hurricane Carter was "wrongfully convicted of a crime he didn't commit," and he's been "exonerated."
Hurricane Carter and his co-accused, John Artis, have never been found "not guilty" of the Lafayette Grill Murders. They were twice convicted, and twice the convictions were set aside on the grounds that they didn't get a fair trial. The State of New Jersey decided not to re-try them a third time because so much time had passed, and withdrew the indictments against them.

If I am banned for this, then this place is an absolute joke. The general consensus amongst those who have followed this case closely is that both Carter and Artis were plainly guilty.

Rip Carter, guy threw punches like sledge hammers.
Interesting reaction. However I don't feel that I need to show respect to murderers.

This isn't a tribute thread. This is a thread for commenting on the passing of someone, someone who happened to be a piece of ****. It's not ****** nor inconsiderate to not have any emotional investment in a murderer.
