If "could've beens" is for underachievers, then I'd put Taylor in the opposite category as an overachiever.

Granted he was pretty well protected up until the Hopkins fights, and didn't accomplish much after them, and both fights were very close, IMO....but his record does have two wins over Hopkins, and that's more than I thought he'd do in his career.

OMG You all are missing some good ones

Gamboa is obviously number 1 honestly

Joan Guzman - dude had incrediblely good technique, good pop, just lazy af with training

PIROG - how yall forget him? He was like GGG around here then he just disappeared

David Haye - dude couldve brought the heavyweight division back to the forefront.....more focused on quick cash in and out

I actually think it's Ortiz and not very close. Dude had all the physical, athletic tools, but was a b*tch

I can hear that. It was always so weird that P.Will fought on the inside so much instead of being a sniper on the outside with those long arms.

            David Haye?

He had a good run at cruiserweight...unified titles beating Mormeck and Maccarinelli.

He was never going to beat Wladimir...I think he did good making enough noise to get (some) people convinced it was a big event.

                  Guys with real talent

                  Valero - dead
Ortiz - ortiz just mentally weak, does himself in
linares - has the raw talent but not the genes
judah - judah just mentally weak, does himself in

all I can think of at the moment.
