If anyone remembers but Joel Julio I thought was the next Tito Trinidad, then I thought Juanma Lopez was the next Tito Trinidad, and I also thought gamboa could be the next Roy jones..
      Those are all my choices

What about Kelly Pavlik? Yeah, he was one dimensional but had he not let drinking take over his life I think he and Sergio would've been the two top dogs at 160. At the time Kelly and Maravilla fought, 160 wasn't too hot if I remember correctly

I thought Juanma vs Gamboa was going to be the next superfight! I still wish that fight would've gone down!

Yeah pavlik is a good one. Much like Michael nunn, looked to be the next great middleweight, but never achieved it..

Do you think Jermain Taylor fits this category?

Joel Julio was a press release/media (Dan Rafael) creation.

Paul Williams, one because his career was tragically cut short, but also because he didn't fight to his attributes and dude would have been straight nasty if he did.
