I get the feeling this won't bother Arum too much, if he was as pîssed off as he sounded he I doubt he was going to do business with them again. He wouldn't have made those comments if he wanted to maintain a healthy business relationship with the MGM. Or that's how I see it.

Plus, Top Rank has a number of young fighters in their stable...they could probably build Oscar Valdez nicely at the Forum.
on the thread topic.....Arum's indifference toward losing the MGM is a little concerning, but if it leads him to fostering a new venue in Vegas..or going back to taking fights to local venues like the Forum then maybe it will be better for boxing fans, and local fighters. not all of these fights need to be in Vegas
as far as Vegas...some of these fights can be held in smaller venues....some of his smaller shows. Vanes-Lara fought at the Wynn, Hatton-Castillo fought at Paris I think, Palms, Thomas and mack like you mentioned. There are a couple of non-MGM spots, but definitely not as grade A like the MGM..so this is still unfortunateLast edited by LA_2_Vegas; 04-18-2014, 05:16 PM.

Why only Filipinos? The man is a fool, He promotes Pac not MGM, he should make sure everything is in place for his fighters leading up to the fight, MGM have too many sport athlete in around their company. So whilst they were wrong in not taking Mayweather- Maidana posters off they can't be crucified if no one from Top Rank notice it themselves until it was too late.
