Much ado about nothing. It was just bad timing and MGM showed their ass...and where their loyalty lies. Arum will come crawling back to them soon enough. Just like he went crawling back to HBO after taking Manny to Showtime and just like he went crawling back to Vegas after declaring that Manny will never fight in the US again.Comment

Barclay's has an exclusive promotional agreement with GBP. So they would do the opposite of welcome TR with open arms.
Thomas & Mack was built in the early 80s and is located on a college campus... quite a different scene than a casino strip which means the owners of the venue will not offer anywhere near the amount of money for the fight... which is why Arum doesn't put fights there... because he makes less money.Comment

As mentioned above, Barclay's is exclusively for GBP, and have you ever been to the Thomas and Mack center? It's a terrible place to watch a fight.Comment

Things such as territorial rights and safety code now may apply. Additionally, the most recent information I've found about temporary stadiums in the US/Canada indicates an approximate capacity of 20,000 for 15 million USD and a three month construction period. The larger temporary stadiums planned for the Russia and Qatar World Cups have significantly higher projected costs. The cost of a temporary stadium for usage in one event would seemingly cost as much if not more than the revenue it would directly generate.
Don't bother. Any person with even a grain of intellect locked in the deep dark recess of their brain knows that temp stadium talk was a duck move by Bob on behalf of his client. Just like his vagina needing extra time to heal once Floyd got a postponement.Comment

Haymon is backing Arum and TR into a corner by signing all the talent. It's not necessarily a good thing, just an observation.Comment

They should apologise. They acted in bad faith. Arum was foolish though. That's what happens when you get old. You get angry and impatient. He didn't do himself any favours airing his grievances in public.Comment

Not to mention that you cant just decide to build something of that scale in Las Vegas. We're talking years to get that thing approved and built.Comment

**** MGM, I don't give a F if it's Floyd or anybody. If Floyd was promoting a fight and they got PAC zhit all over the place that zhit is just ****up.Comment
