I wish him the best of course, I understand his situation and I can respect it.
Dude had a gaping cut on his head the fight after he brain damaged another man in the ring ! Fear certainly appeared a factor from Mike in the Takam fight.was it psychological ? Of course it was.I think he could have done with a couple of soft fights after the adverse psychological reaction he clearly suffered from, whilst facing Takam in the mid to late rounds.with the Jennings fight ordered obviously that wasnt an option to stage a couple of tune ups so to speak.

I expect he will have had plenty of tough sparring lately.i don't think they should put too much emphasis on the psychological side though, they don't wanna make it a bigger deal than it is/was.its only like crashing or bumping the car,you have an accident, you drive like Miss Daisy for a few weeks until the confidence returns, capish ?

I'm guessing Sanchez won't move because he has to prepare GGG for his next fight.
Booth is not the tactical genius some people make him out to be. But he knows how to get guys in condition to fight, both physically and mentally.

I have never rated Booth.Im thinking he didn't have faith and believe in Groves and that is why Groves ditched him.his new trainer clearly had belief in him that he could school Froch and for the most part he did, before getting carried away with himself and dropping his hands show boating.

Now Booth has departed from Groves,we're seeing improvements,I believe he was holding him back.

Mike I really like and I am slightly concerned he has employed Booth tbh.the guy is a glorified fitness conditioner at best.

I'm sure Booth did believe in Groves. He really pushed hard to get George into the ring with Froch to begin with. I think the fall out was probably over tactics. Booth is a cautious, methodical type of guy and it's very likely the idea of going toe to toe with Froch early came from Groves himself, rather than Booth.
You are correct though, he is a glorified fitness conditioner, which is why I think he is a good choice as an "interim" trainer for Perez. He isn't going to have Mike long enough to change anything and won't even try. He'll focus on fitness, conditioning, and being mentally prepared, which is what Perez needs.
Imo though, Perez won't beat Jennings, no matter who trains him. I just think Jennings is too good a boxer to lose this fight.
