I would be amazed if Maidana were to win more than a couple of rounds but he does carry good power and I think that is his only slim chance of victory. For me the only really element of intrigue is Floyds age and Maidanas power but realistically I can only see a shut out or late stoppage for Floyd , it would be great if Maidana could make it interesting but nah..

In theory he doesn't need the KO. But we also know he needs to put him down numerous times and hurt him several times just to win a decision. Floyd doesn't throw many punches, but he is one of the few , where judges will look to see if he is completely dominated in the rounds to give the rounds to the opponent. Sucks , i know, But the old Saying " You have to really take the title form the champion " applies here.

Madiana has good power but he's not a concussive puncher, at least for top level fighters, if corspe Morales could survive his onslaught they why not Floyd.....Not to mention Khan
