    Is Bradley the new Berto?

bradley sort of a gatekeeper type boxer now at 147, just like berto?

can't be considered elite, but not a total bum. got away with a few gift decisions like berto did but turns out he's not as good as some thought.

possibly a gatekeeper test for upcoming 147 boxers like khan, broner, thurman, maidana, porter etc..

Bradley has already accomplished more than Berto ever dreamed of. **** Tim was arguably as high as #3 P4P. And his only official loss is to an ATG.

Berto & Bradley aren't even on the same hemisphere.

lol Bradley takes one loss to an ATG = Berto.

Bradley will always be in competitive fights because he's a good fighter. He's not great, but he's an all round good fighter.

Bradley accomplished more before going up to 147 than Berto ever will

Mayweather and Pacman are the only two welterweights Bradley will lose to.

Pretty much anyone can beat Berto.

              Quite a difference.

I don't understand where some of these questions come from. Bradley has accomplished more than Berto can even begin to think of. He was largely regarded as a top 5 P4P fighter. He loses one fight, one fight, and it was to one of the all time greats, and we get this. Unbelievable.

Bradley can mix it up with any top welterweight (and some junior middleweights) and make it one hell of a competitive fight. I'd personally bet on Bradley to pull out the victory on most of them.

Bradley's already established himself as a champion in his own right (Marquez should've won that belt in the 4th fight, and Bradley should've taken it from Marquez) and is leagues above Berto in terms of grit and legacy.

Yeah but to play the other side just for the hell of it....he should've lost the first Pac fight. He had a rough tough fight with Provo who is unheralded. He won a close fight with JMM....at 147 he's a good fighter but to call him elite is a stretch imo. I guess it all depends on the first pac fight but both were fairly wide wins for pac.

That said I thought Bradley was doing well and was impressed until he gassed or lost hope in about the 6th.

Edit: Just to be clear he's far more accomplished than Berto and saying he's the next Berto is disrespectful imo...though if he is....Pac in Sept? Sorry couldn't help myself.
