How can anyone have an indefinite contract with one promoter? I hope it isnt true.

Just read more of the document. Garcia is arguing he's too fat to make 130, so the automatic contact extension top rank got after winning the title is no longer valid since he can't defend the title.

Okay, just finished reading the whole thing. It can basically be separated into three things.

1)There's a bunch California laws violated by Top Rank. Like Arum acting like a manager. And that contracts are only enforceable up to 5 years. Garcia's contract specifically says that the agreement will be governed by Nevada law though so Arum will argue he did nothing wrong.

2)The contract is void under its own terms. Like the Mikey being too fat thing I just mentioned. To further elaborate, their contract says "Promoter shall have exclusive right and option to promote the Fighter's first five title defenses or Bouts." The stickler here is what the contract means by "Bouts." Garcia is arguing it only means non-title bouts while still champion. Bob is saying it means non-title bouts regardless of Garcia still being champion or not.

            3) The ali act being violated because Arum didn't disclose the total income earned by his fights. This won't void the contract. Top Rank would just have to pay restitution for possible damages it may have caused.

Bradley and Manny like Top Prank because it keeps them out of the kitchen where the real heat is (GB).
Get the **** out of here with that sheeeiiittt.

Bradley's last four fights: Pacquiao, Provonikov, Marquez, Pacquiao. It doesn't get any more challenging than that.

Bradley resigned with Top Rank because they did right by him. They took him from a single 1-mil payday against Devon into being a multi-millionaire, and got him the Pacquiao fight as promised. Bradley is set and will be looked-out for at Top Rank; Vargas, Rios, and a rematch with Provonikov will keep him perfectly busy for the time being.

Keeps them out of the kitchen my ass.

Arum isn't ****** enough to obviously break the law, he's a lawyer.
He is also a business man, who have a tendency to take calculated risks.

The only logical reason hes doing this is to duck Gamboa
So going to court equates to ducking. Hmm, I know another fighter that did the same thing in 2009.
