You do realize that Gamboa's main problem was with his other promoter.

Comparing a fighter who doesn't want to pay 2 promoters, to a fighter who feels his promoter is hiding something, great comparison.

Not showing up to your own press conference 2 weeks before the fight is the same thing as suing your promoter when you have no fight scheduled according to HanzGruber.

And Gamboa didn't sue Bob, Bob sued him, the similarities are uncanny.

Wow, I did not see this coming...

I actually see Top Rank bending backwards to keep not just Mikey Garcia, but as much of the entire Robert Garcia stable as it can keep. Robert Garcia is both a high profile trainer with a popular stable; whoever owns the loyalty of Robert Garcia and co. has an advantage of an entire marketable stable.

Good Observation. Rios, Garcia, Maidana all have lucrative fights waiting for them @ GBP, and don't forget the Arum/Ariza feud.

Arum isn't ****** enough to obviously break the law, he's a lawyer.

Donaire tried to leave and got smacked down. Mayweather had to buy out his contract in order to leave TR. Garcia is just F ing himself.

seems like a dumb move on Garcia's part. HBO was pushing him hard and he won't get that at Showtime, because they got other guys like Santa Cruz and Mares. Garcia will just become a B side who will have to make it on his talent alone.

which sucks for him because his style isn't fan friendly nor does he have a personality to speak of.

boxing is a sport but even more than that it is a spectacle. without a fan friendly style, personality or big networking backing he's kind of F ing himself over.

Not a dumb move if financially he's getting ripped off.
