Simple. Marquez knows Pacquiao was winning every round until he hit his lottery punch, Marquez knows he'd get either UD'd or KO'd if they fight again.

Pac was more aggressive in the 4th fight which in the end proved his undoing. He was winning rounds but don't forget he was put down hard in the 3rd round aswell (his back was the 1st thing to hit the canvas). I think that the 4th fight was Marquez's last great performance i think he looked old in the Bradley fight against a younger, better opponent and I don't blame him for not wanting a 5th fight. Fact of the matter is people can argue that Pac was winning & punishing Marquez but in the end it means nothing because he was knocked out cold.

Don't get me wrong I'm a massive Pac (and unlike many people on here a massive Floyd fan aswell) and every fight that either fighter makes is just frustrating as regardless if you're a fan of either fighter or both its a travesty that the fight hasn't been made and i never think it will now

Actually, don't be surprised if Marquez does face Bradley next, pending him winning against Alvarado. Bradley has no options either. So it's a very realistic setup.

Of course we want to see Pacquiao vs Mayweather. But Floyd has ducked for 5 years. Marquez said he's sticking around for that belt at 147, and since that belongs to Pacquiao, we'll see if Marquez has the ballz to challenge Manny for it AND prove the 4th fight was no fluke and it was.

Yeah, it was a fluke since Marquez only landed one right hand in that 4th fight. haha

Pacquiao has never said he wants to avenge the Marquez ko, just listen to his postfight interviews and he never mentions that he wants a rematch with Marquez, the commentators push him with that question but he never gives a straight answer.
