Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez has once again dismissed the possibility of a fifth fight with Manny Pacquiao. Marquez us training hard for his upcoming fight with Mike Alvarado on May 17th at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum had promised to match the Marquez-Alvarado winner against the winner of last week's rematch between Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley. Pacquiao won a twelve round unanimous decision.

Marquez also thought he won the fight against Bradley. That is an absolute joke. He and nacho are delusional at times. Hell, it was Nacho's fault he lost the third fight after telling him to take the foot off the gas at the end of the fight.

Let's be honest here: Marquez was getting terrorized the last two rounds of their past fight. He was well on his way to being stopped when he caught Pacquiao. he knows he won't catch Pacquiao again because Roach will train the whole camp to take away the straight right. And, they will succeed. Good fighters and trainers usually can take away one weapon of their opponent if they train on it.

I've never seen Marquez take the punishment he did in that last fight with Pacquiao. Not even when he lost to Mayweather. There is a reason he doesn't want this fight. I don't blame him. He lost the first fight cleanly and got dropped three times (although officially a draw). The next two could have and some argued should have gone his way but didn't. He feels vindicated by a KO. Why risk getting KO'd himself in a rematch?

I think Marquez may be angling for a Bradley rematch even without the title belt, if he gets past Alvarado because he thought he beat him the first time.

Agreed. I mean we aren't ******. We know he was on something for the fourth Pac fight..maybe even the 3rd fight but definitely the 4th fight. Marquez was on roids and landed a shot that has never done any damage to Pac in the 3 previous fights. Marquez got dropped and dominated by Bradley with blood testing...Pac stops Marquez in impressive fashion in a rematch with blood testing.

After the first sentence I stopped reading this post. Idiotic in deed. "Pacquaio allowed him (Marquez) to shine." I like Pacquiao but his fans are really out of this planet sometimes. As if Pacquiao allowed a close fight to let Marquez shine.
