Schaefer needs to start distancing himself from Money Mayweather and stop defending the guy. He needs to start fixing his relationship with Hoya. GBP is just getting crumbs from the Greedy Team. He needs to realize that Money Mayweather is a polarizing figure that hurts business. Schaefer has been making enemies not friends. Soon, MM will retire and he's left with SHO's limited budget. His fighters will soon go to TR en masse when they're not getting any fights.

Selling 3 mil ppv's, setting a live gate record, and selling movie theatres/merchandise is hurting business? My goodness, the things manny fans will post.

Reports say GBP got a flat $2 million in the Canelo/Money fight. Not even enough for the statewide tour.

Doe, PPV numbers don't paint a complete picture. Mayweather fights are expensive to produce starting from Money's $40 million guarantee. Then Canelo's purse, the expensive undercards, promotion, Access produced by amateurs, then the live weigh-in ceremony, you name it. They spent more than they made, doe. It's obvious by the rarity of subscription-based fights they have shown since the fight. Guerrero, Berto, Matthysse, Khan, they're now fighting once a year. Mass number of fighters in their stable have been on a long layoff.

The Canelo floyd press tour cost 1 million, hence 2 million is more than enough.

You have nothing factual to support this. It seems you are just upset that floyd and showtime had a successful year.

Saying that, pac did nothing to prove innocence, all he had to do is sit and allow his attorney to talk...
innocent until proven guilty..pac didn't have to prove his innocence, mayweather had to prove his guilt, thats the way the courts work,i could go around accusing people of child ******ing, but i better have proof.mabe its not a perfect system, but it protects people from false accusations and defamation,i respect your opinion,though...take care my friend.,enjoy the fights!!

I started my SHO subscription when this huge rift between Schaefer and HBO started, thinking that with Mayweather on board it will lead to competition, thus more fights for SHO. So far, SHO hasn't been producing regular fights as often as expected since the so-called PPV record breaker. I suspect Alexander/Khan didn't happen because of lack of funds, not because Khan preferred to wait for Mayweather's decision. Schaefer simply didn't pursue it because Alexander's team was demanding a huge purse. Look at how quick the Porter/Alexander got made. Star vs Star types of fights are expensive to make. GBP can only afford undercard fights or Star vs Bum types.

Unfortunately for Alexander, he thought Porter was an easy fight. Lol. He ended up losing his title and getting low money reward for it.

Pacquiao didn't win anything. The defamation case was settled out of court and Mayweather paid some of Pacquiao's legal fees for the days that he did not show up to court. If you consider preventing the fight from happening a win for Pacquiao (which could definitely be argued) then you can say that he won the lawsuit...
