I don't know but all this confidence from LARA is unwarranted; LARA vs MOLINA wasn't able to outboxe the mexican because his inside work and LARA vs ANGULO showed that he touched the canvas two time because the pressure of EL PERRO so if CANELO (better boxer than MOLINA and PERRO,also in his worst night) press the cuban with good head movements and work good inside with his good body shots and his accurate uppercuts to the head and body,I DON'T SEE CANELO AS THE LOSER!!! LARA has to annoy CANELO if he wants to bring him to school !!!

Lara made it easier on Angulo though. He would simply put his guard up when he was against the ropes and Angulo would unload his body attack at will, Lara would land a massive left move around a bit and the process would repeat itself. That body attack could've been the reason he was caught with his hands down with that Angulo left hook so often.

Good point. Lara's got no inside game. He puts that high guard up when he doesn't know what else to do and becomes vulnerable. Still, Angulo brought uncommon stamina to that fight, the likes of which Canelo can only dream of. Whatever the case, Alvarez brings his own talents to this fight and should make it very interesting. I'm looking forward to a good contest.

Lara was given a rehydration limit and forced to fight in a small ring against Angulo, and he still stopped him.

So I've heard, but do we really know if it's true? It would explain a lot. And I would love to believe that Lara smashed Angulo into submission despite the cards being stacked against him.

Nope. Not like Angulo did. Angulos pressure > Canelos.

Lara moves well and Canelo can't cut the ring off like Angulo. And Lara has that reach advantage and stamina advantage

Yes, he will. I just hope it doesn't happen too often. Lara has to win this fight on the outside. As I've stated many times, Landy has no inside game. He needs to create distance and counter. I think he'll have enough opportunities to do that.

I'm picking Lara, but one factor does bother me in this prediction; Angulo. On paper one would think Lara would absolutely school Angulo with his eyes closed, this is a guy who was outboxed by Kermit freakin' Cintron, sodomized by caveman Kirkland, and just got obliterated by Canelo. How did this guy manage to go life and death with Lara and almost have him out? I need to watch the fight again, maybe Lara didn't take him seriously or fought with a dumb gameplan, IDK, but it's pretty odd. Lara has schooled much better fighters (Williams and Trout) that it baffles me how his fight with Angulo went. Now, I know Canelo and Angulo fight noting alike because Canelo doesn't put that kind of pressure, but Canelo is faster, stronger and more accurate. The key there is power, which is what obviously troubled Lara in the Angulo fight but I'm still thinking that Lara's great boxing skills and power of his own will override what Alvarez will bring.

Angulo can throw punches on the move and hurt you. Canelo can't.

He'll have to eat some leather but I believe he can get inside enough to take advantage of Lara's lack of inside game.
