I did say a p4p fighter in his prime, Mosely wasnt. Yes Hatton was a good win but we all know that Hatton wasnt good enough for Floyd or Pac.

The point is that you need to fight the best, so Maidana is the best possible fight he can take?

We all know that is a major mismatch.

I have said it before, the true mark of a champion is when a boxer takes a loss and rises from adversity and gets back to the top.

Go and look at an ATG list, nearly all of them took losses because they fought the best.

And the best isnt just some guy that has a belt either.

Floyd hasnt challenged himself in a long time imo and ducked way too many fights in his career.

It's not even close. Floyd did this to himself. He has all of the talent to be what he thinks he is, but he doesn't have the balls. Sorry. In order to be great, you must take risks. There is no other way.

        Are you serious?

If he ducked all them guys that gave him losses then he wouldnt be known as the greatest.

After your comment there I probably wont answer you again, smh.

You didn't mention ducking. You said losses mean nothing but they do. Any loss takes something away from a resume even if avenged like Lewis did. People still talk about Rahman and McCall beating him don't they? Marciano hasn't a great win but is an ATG because he has a 0. You're talking out of your ass saying losses don't affect a resume. If you just stuck to ducking affecting it you'd be right.

A 0 is relevant if you ducked or not if you fought a decent level of competition.

                Great post........

Excellent post. The only people who don't like Manny are haters, idiots, immature fans, and Floyd Mayweather. He is so humble in all of his glory. Cotto is the same way. Oscar was the same way. These guys are intelligent and classy. What happened to people liking that type of athelete?? Instead, they get behind the **** talkers and backstabbers. Smh. America is a sad place.

What are you mumbling about? Pacquiao was selling millions of PPVs and you're talking like nobody supports him.

you're moving the goal post my dude......canelo was young, prime and ranked....same can be said for hatton. you're talking about ducking but floyd was supposedly ducking shane right? even though floyd called him out in his prime(which mosley ducked twice). it wasn't until after the margarito fight did mosley start to call for a floyd fight. lol@floyd not challenging himself.....according to some nsb'ers floyd challenge himself would be him fighting ggg(at 160) or ward(at 168), two weight classes floyd has no business at..... you're acting like hall of famers fought p4p fighters each and every time out...no hall of famers do that, including ray robinson........maidana(a world champion) is a good fight for every other ww so why not floyd who is also a ww? floyd is the only fighter in the history of the sport who can't unify a damn title lmao.

Canelo was 24 when he fought Floyd and in boxing terms that is young and inexperienced especially when taking on someone as good as Floyd.

I did say that Hatton was a good win.

Im just saying that he should be fighting people that are in their prime and have a style to challenge him.

Dont get me wrong, im a floyd fan as well but I see through his bs.
